Adebukola Abiola, MD is the medical director of Preston Healthcare. He holds a medical degree from the College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Addiction Medicine (certified in 2008), and the American Board of Family Medicine (recertified in 2003). He is certified in Traveler’s Health by the International Society of Travel Medicine.
Dr. Abiola holds a Certificate in Opioid Dependence Treatment from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto and the Center for Addiction and Mental Health, Toronto, Canada.
He is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, the International Society of Addiction Medicine, The National Center for Crisis Management and American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, The Institute of Functional Medicine, and the International Association for Medical Assistance to Travelers.
He is the Medical Consultant to Cazenovia Recovery Systems, Inc. in Buffalo, NY.
Dr. Abiola practices a full complement of addiction medicine, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT), individual and group therapy, and neurofeedback. He provides consultation in peri-operative, acute and chronic pain management to individuals with substance abuse, misuse and addiction who are currently in therapy or in recovery.
He also directs the Center for International, Travel Medicine & Immigrant Health where he provides pre-travel preventive care including immunizations to individuals traveling abroad either for business or pleasure and conducts immigration physical examinations. He also provides healthcare services to tourists.
